IQProtector for Mail

OVERVIEW

Content-sensitive IQProtector classifies and protects email, attached documents or other files tagged as sensitive - encrypting data according to a customizable security policy.

Challenge and Solution

THE CHALLENGE THE SOLUTION

Email encryption is an excellent method of maintaining data integrity and limiting access to sensitive data in transit and at rest - in-house or in cloud-based mail services. However, existing encryption solutions require enduser action to operate, and cannot differentiate between data that could be encrypted, and data that must be encrypted.

IQPROTECTOR FOR MAIL

Based on ongoing infrastructure-agnostic, usage-based discovery and centrally-managed classification of sensitive data as it is created, IQProtector protects crucial corporate data sent via email without the need for user intervention.

IQProtector classification and encryption are based on a central policy directed by the enterprise. Email, documents or other files tagged as sensitive can be automatically protected according to customizable security policy. Secure Islands enables encryption/IRM to be applied automatically, leveraging pre-defined parameters based on content, user, subject, sender, recipient, attachments and more.
