The seasoned Secure Islands management team brings broad and multidisciplinary experience from the security, enterprise software, and communications markets. Some of the key players on our team are:

Aki Eldar - Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Aki Eldar has more than 22 years of management, sales and business development experience in communications, security, and software. Prior to founding Secure Islands, Aki was VP Sales and head of a Business Unit at Bynet Data Communication, where he was responsible for developing annual sales in excess of $50 million. During his tenure at Bynet, Aki successfully developed and applied new business strategies that significantly enhanced the company's leading role in the local and the global market. Prior to joining Bynet, Aki worked for the Israeli government in the field of national security initiatives.

Yuval Eldar - Founder & Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Yuval Eldar brings extensive experience from more than 20 years in R&D and Product Management. Prior to founding Secure Islands, Yuval was R&D Group Manager at Check Point (NASDAQ: CHKP). In this role, he was directly responsible for all development activities of the company's two major product lines. Prior to that, Yuval was VP R&D of Britannica Knowledge Systems Ltd. (BKS) a start-up company which was acquired by Britannica Inc. During his military service, Yuval served as an officer in an elite technology unit, where he managed strategic and large scale R&D projects.

Roee Oz - Vice President Research & Development

Prior to joining Secure Islands, Mr. Roee Oz was a System Architect at Jungo (acquired by NDS), where he was responsible for all technological aspects of Jungo’s product flagships. Previously, Roee was a senior software developer at NPX, a company which develops fraud detection services for the Internet. He holds a B.Sc. (Summa Cum Laude) in Computer Science and Mathematics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
